Blood membership offers the new or aspiring collector:
A programme of evening and weekend events, designed to expand your horizons in collecting contemporary art. Members are welcome to bring a guest and most of these events are free.
Blood membership will give you:
- At least 12 evening and weekend events each year, designed to expand your horizons in collecting contemporary art. Members are welcome to bring a guest and all these events are free or at minimal cost. The event programme includes:
- Visits to commercial galleries with talks by gallery directors, curators and artists
- Artist studio visits to see work and understand different art practices
- Curator-led visits to art fairs
- Curator-led visits to museums and other exhibition spaces
- Invitations to view rarely seen corporate and private contemporary collections
- Opportunities to buy cutting-edge contemporary art under the guidance of top curators and specialists
- Invitations to specialist-led talks, seminars and panel discussions
- A regular e-newsletter detailing:
- Forthcoming Blood events
- Recommended exhibitions / talks
- Information on artists whose work has been purchased through the Contemporary Art Society for museums and corporate collections
- VIP invitations to private views and openings of art fairs in London
- VIP invitations to at least one overseas trip each year*
- A special opportunity to participate in an annual fund-raising event to purchase or commission a specific piece of contemporary art for a named UK museum*.

- Discounts at framers, art transporters and installers
