Space Now Curator-Led Tour, Tuesday 17 June 2008, 6.30- 8.30pm

Blood members were invited to a special curator-led tour of SPACE NOW, an exhibition celebrating 40 years of SPACE providing artists with studios across London. Curated by Caroline Douglas, Head of Arts Council Collection, SPACE NOW presents a roll-call of British artists currently working in SPACE studios, including this year's Turner Prize Winner Mark Wallinger alongside Rebecca Warren, Yinke Shonibare, Michael Raedecker, DJ Simpson and new talents such as Peter Peri, Saskia Olde Wolbers (Becks Futures 2004 winner), Mustafa Hulusi (Cypriot Pavilion, Venice Biennale 2007), Claude Heath as well as many artists still to be discovered.

Space 40 - supporting artists since 1968 - developing [space] for the future

SPACE NOW saw the launch of a new fund-raising campaign; all sales of the work will go towards supporting the future of studios in East London for the next generation of emerging artists.
