Sir Christopher Frayling, Chair of Arts Council England, hosted a special evening reception at COLLECT. This brought together collectors from a broad spectrum of partnering organizations.
The event included the announcement of the Sotheby's Award for Craft and also marked the publication of Making it to Market, Arts Council England's newly published report on craft.
Works on exhibition were available for purchase through Arts Council England's Own Art scheme.
Organised by the British Crafts Council, COLLECT is the only art fair in Europe that showcases the very best of contemporary applied and decorative arts from around the world.
As always at COLLECT, the very best works in glass, ceramics, textiles, silver and fine metal work, wood, furniture and art jewellery by leading artists from around the world were on display and available to buy from a selection of the world's best specialist galleries.
