The Contemporary Art Society invites Blood members to an evening curator- led tour of this year's Summer Show at the Royal College of Art. Showcasing work by over 400 students, the RCA Summer Show is the perfect opportunity to spot new talent in Fine & Applied Art, Architecture & Design, Communications, Fashion & Textiles, and Humanities.

This year, the college will be hosting 'the most spectacular show to date’, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the Exhibition Road. A unique exhibition tent will be erected in Kensington Gardens to house this year's design work, in addition to the traditional exhibition site in the college buildings. Elements such as plywood gables, lean-tos, and garden sheds incorporated into the design by RCA Architecture Tutor Gerrard O'Carroll and curator Claire Catterall promise to create a truly unique backdrop for the student's artwork. More information: http://www.rca.ac.uk/pages/news/events_343.html

Blood members will meet with Nigel Rolf, the curator of the RCA Summer Show at 7pm and accompany him on an exclusive guided tour of the exhibition, and are invited to join Blood for drinks at the Goethe Institute bar afterwards.

Please note: This event is by invite only and RSVP is essential. You can only RSVP from your own personal invite sent to you by email. Become a Blood member today to receive your invite.
